Sell Your Vintage Cycle World Magazines (1960s)

Welcome to SellOldMagazines.com—your trusted destination for the careful and selective review of vintage magazine collections. If you have original issues of Cycle World from the 1960s, your collection may qualify for review. As one of the most respected titles in motorcycling journalism, early Cycle World issues are valued for their insight into the golden age of two-wheeled performance.

We are currently reviewing select Cycle World magazine collections from the 1960s that meet our general buying standards.

About Cycle World Magazine

Cycle World debuted in 1962, quickly establishing itself as the leading voice in motorcycling with in-depth road tests, race coverage, and commentary that appealed to both enthusiasts and professionals. The magazine featured new models from brands like Honda, Triumph, BSA, Yamaha, and Harley-Davidson, along with technical articles, gear reviews, and insights into global racing circuits. Its clean layout and expert editorial style helped distinguish it from other titles of the time.

Early issues are often noted for:

  • Road tests and reviews of classic 1960s motorcycles

  • Coverage of major racing events and motorcycle Grand Prix highlights

  • Technical deep-dives and tuning advice from early editors

  • Vintage advertisements featuring iconic gear and parts

  • Cover photography showcasing mid-century motorcycle design

What We’re Looking For

We welcome all inquiries, but only Cycle World magazine collections that meet the following criteria will be considered for review:

  • Era: Primarily issues from the 1960s (1962–1969)

  • Condition: Magazines must be in very good condition—no torn pages, mold, water damage, or severe wear

  • Mailing Labels: Label-free covers preferred, especially for display-quality issues

  • Quantity: We do not purchase individual issues. Submissions should include 10 or more, boxed and prepared for shipping or pickup

  • Content Consideration: Issues featuring significant bikes or first-year model coverage may enhance interest but do not guarantee purchase

Due to wide distribution, only well-preserved and complete collections are eligible for review.
