About The New Yorker Magazine
First published in 1925, The New Yorker has been a staple of American culture, known for its in-depth reporting, fiction, poetry, and iconic cover illustrations. The magazine has featured contributions from literary giants and artists, capturing the zeitgeist of each era with wit and sophistication. Its covers, often reflecting the social and political climate, have become collectible artworks in their own right.
We are most likely to review:
1920s–1990s U.S. Editions
Issues Featuring Notable Cover Art or Cultural Commentary
Magazines in Very Good Condition (No Water Damage, Mold, or Missing Pages)
Boxed Collections of 10+ Issues Preferred
Copies Without Mailing Labels Strongly Preferred
What We’re Looking For
While we appreciate all interest, The New Yorker magazine submissions must meet the following criteria for consideration:
Era: We primarily review issues from the 1920s through the 1990s. Later editions may be considered as part of a larger boxed lot.
Condition: Magazines must be in very good condition—free from torn pages, significant wear, mold, or water damage.
Mailing Labels: We prefer label-free covers, especially when labels obscure logos or cover art.
Quantity: We do not purchase individual issues. Submissions should include 10 or more, boxed for shipment or prepared for in-person pickup.
Content: Issues featuring significant literary contributions, iconic cover art, or cultural milestones may enhance reviewability but do not guarantee acceptance.
Even for esteemed publications like The New Yorker, resale remains a niche market. Only collections that meet our combined standards for condition, completeness, and volume are considered.
