Sell Your Old Atari Age Magazines
Welcome to SellOldMagazines.com—a trusted destination for the selective and professional review of vintage magazine collections. If you have original issues of Atari Age, especially from its early 1980s publication run, your collection may qualify for review. As one of the first official video game fan magazines, Atari Age holds a special place in gaming history.

We are currently reviewing select Atari Age magazine collections that meet our general buying guidelines.

About Atari Age Magazine

Atari Age was launched in 1982 by the Atari Club as an exclusive magazine for members. Distributed until 1984, the publication offered previews of upcoming games, developer spotlights, gameplay tips, contests, and full-color artwork. It served as both a marketing tool and a fan magazine during the golden age of Atari 2600 and early 5200 gaming. With only a limited number of issues released, surviving copies in good condition are relatively scarce.

We are most likely to review:

  • 1982–1984 Original Atari Club Editions

  • Issues with Full Covers, No Missing Pages, and Intact Interiors

  • Boxed Groupings of 5+ Issues (Due to short print run)

  • Copies Without Mailing Labels Strongly Preferred

  • No Reprints or Later Reissues

What We’re Looking For

While we appreciate all submissions, Atari Age collections must meet the following criteria for consideration:

  • Era: We only consider original Atari Age issues from 1982 to 1984. Later reprints, compilations, or unofficial fan publications are not accepted.

  • Condition: All magazines must be in very good condition—no mold, water damage, missing pages, or excessive wear.

  • Mailing Labels: We prefer label-free covers, especially when labels obscure logos or featured content.

  • Quantity: We do not expect large lots due to the limited run, but submissions should include at least 5 issues for review.

  • Content Notes: While earlier issues and those featuring major titles (e.g., Yars’ Revenge, E.T., Pitfall!) may be of greater interest, inclusion alone does not guarantee a purchase.

Given the magazine’s short production window and niche appeal, we only accept collections that meet our strict condition and completeness requirements.
