Sell Your Old The Wrestler Magazines
Welcome to SellOldMagazines.com—your reliable resource for the professional review of vintage magazine collections. If you have older issues of The Wrestler, especially from the 1970s through the 1990s, your collection may qualify for review. As one of the longest-running wrestling publications, The Wrestler provided in-depth coverage of professional wrestling during its formative decades.
We are currently reviewing select The Wrestler magazine collections that meet our general buying standards.
About The Wrestler Magazine
First published in 1966 by Stanley Weston, The Wrestler was a cornerstone of wrestling journalism during the territory days and into the national expansion era. The magazine covered major promotions including the NWA, AWA, WWF, and WCW, offering storyline-driven articles, exclusive rankings, wrestler profiles, and behind-the-scenes features. Unlike some kayfabe-heavy magazines, The Wrestler often balanced storyline with insightful coverage, earning loyal readership among serious fans.
We’re most likely to review:
1960s–1990s U.S. Editions
Issues Featuring Prominent Wrestlers Like Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and Bret Hart
Magazines in Very Good Condition with All Pages Intact
Boxed Lots of 15 or More Issues
Covers Without Mailing Labels Preferred
What We’re Looking For
We appreciate all interest, but only collections meeting the following criteria will be considered for review:
Era: We primarily consider The Wrestler issues from the 1970s through the 1990s. Earlier issues may receive special attention if preserved well.
Condition: Magazines must be in very good condition—no mold, water damage, missing pages, or significant wear.
Mailing Labels: We prefer label-free covers, especially when the label obscures the magazine’s headline or featured wrestler.
Quantity: We do not purchase single issues. We typically review collections of 15 or more, boxed and ready for shipment or pickup.
Content: While magazines featuring iconic wrestlers and major events may be reviewed with interest, inclusion alone does not guarantee acceptance.
Even for respected wrestling publications like The Wrestler, resale is limited to collections that meet our standards for condition, completeness, and volume.
