Sell Your Old Glamour Magazines
Welcome to SellOldMagazines.com—your source for responsibly reviewing vintage magazine collections. If you have older issues of Glamour magazine, especially those published before the 1990s, your collection may qualify for review. Known for blending fashion, health, lifestyle, and culture, Glamour played a key role in shaping women’s media for much of the 20th century.

We are currently reviewing select Glamour magazine collections that meet our general buying guidelines.

About Glamour Magazine

Originally launched in 1939 as Glamour of Hollywood, the magazine evolved into one of the leading voices in American women’s publishing. By the 1950s and 1960s, Glamour gained a wide readership through its accessible style, beauty tips, career-focused articles, and real-world fashion photography. It was a staple on newsstands for decades and adapted alongside the evolving role of women in society.

Examples of reviewable content include:

  • 1940s–1970s U.S. Editions

  • Issues Highlighting Social Change, Careers, or Cultural Shifts

  • Fashion and Beauty Features from the 1950s–1980s

  • Clean Covers with Well-Preserved Interiors

  • Magazine Lots with Original Spines and Minimal Handling Wear

What We’re Looking For

We highly appreciate all submissions, but we follow specific guidelines in deciding which collections we can consider.

  • Date Range: We typically review Glamour issues published before the 1990s. Post-1990 editions are rarely accepted.

  • Condition: Items must be in very good condition, with no major tears, water damage, mold, or missing pages.

  • Mailing Labels: For Glamour, we prefer issues without mailing labels, though discreet labels may be acceptable depending on overall condition.

  • Quantity: We generally do not accept single magazines. Submissions should include 15 or more issues, ideally boxed or suitable for local pickup.

  • Topic Relevance: While some topics—such as women’s workplace features, fashion eras, or celebrity profiles—may attract attention, inclusion does not guarantee purchase.

Please note: Glamour, like many mass-circulation titles, had very high print volumes. Because of this, only a limited number of issues meet the criteria necessary for resale consideration.

If accepted, we will provide guidance on how to safely package and ship your collection—or, where possible, arrange an in-person pickup.

We do not appraise or guarantee purchases, but we’re happy to review qualifying collections.
