About Mademoiselle Magazine
Mademoiselle was first published in 1935 and became known for its sophisticated yet youthful focus on fashion, beauty, careers, and literature. Often seen as a more intellectual counterpart to other women’s magazines of its time, it featured fiction by Sylvia Plath, Truman Capote, and other prominent writers, along with fashion photography and cultural commentary. The magazine ceased publication in 2001, but its earlier decades remain of interest for historical and stylistic context.

What We’re Looking For
We greatly appreciate all submissions, but please review the following criteria before submitting your Mademoiselle collection:
Publication Date: We generally consider issues published before the 1990s. Later issues are typically not accepted.
Condition: Magazines must be in very good condition—no missing pages, excessive wear, mold, or water damage.
Mailing Labels: For Mademoiselle, we prefer label-free copies, although some labeled editions may be reviewed depending on placement and wear.
Quantity: We do not purchase individual issues. Our process is focused on collections of 15+ magazines, preferably boxed for shipping or available for local pickup.
Content & Covers: While literary content or fashion spreads may draw interest, inclusion does not guarantee purchase.
Even for historic titles like Mademoiselle, resale opportunities are limited. We can only accept a small number of submissions that align with current inventory needs, storage capabilities, and niche buyer demand.
