About YM Magazine
Originally launched as Compact in the 1930s, the magazine was rebranded as Young Miss in the 1960s, then became Young & Modern (YM) in the 1980s, and later simply YM. Throughout its run, YM focused on the lives and interests of teenage girls, covering everything from celebrity gossip and fashion tips to health, relationships, and real-girl stories. The magazine ceased publication in 2004 but remains fondly remembered by those who grew up reading it.

Issues in Very Good Condition with All Pages Intact

What We’re Looking For
We appreciate all submissions but follow specific guidelines when reviewing YM collections:
Era: We primarily consider issues published before the mid-2000s, focusing especially on the 1980s through early 2000s.
Condition: Magazines must be in very good physical condition—no missing pages, mold, tears, or significant damage.
Mailing Labels: We prefer copies without mailing labels, particularly for display-friendly covers.
Quantity: We do not purchase individual issues. Submissions should include 15 or more magazines, boxed for shipping or prepared for local pickup.
Insert Content: Issues with intact posters or quizzes may be more likely to qualify, but inclusion does not guarantee acceptance.
Please note that YM was a widely distributed title, and only a limited number of submissions will meet the niche requirements necessary for resale consideration.

If your collection fits our general criteria, the first step is to complete our quote form and upload several clear photos showing cover examples, visible dates, and overall condition. If your submission is accepted, we’ll provide shipping instructions or coordinate local pickup when possible.
