Sell Your Old Vibe Magazines
Welcome to SellOldMagazines.com—your professional destination for the selective review of vintage magazine collections. If you have early issues of Vibe magazine, especially from the 1990s and early 2000s, your collection may be eligible for review. As a publication that chronicled the intersection of hip-hop, R&B, fashion, and Black culture, Vibe holds a significant place in modern media history.
We are currently reviewing select Vibe magazine collections that meet our general buying criteria.
About Vibe Magazine
Founded in 1993 by music producer Quincy Jones, Vibe quickly became a premier voice in hip-hop and R&B journalism. With striking photography, artist profiles, album reviews, and deep cultural commentary, the magazine gave center stage to artists and voices often underrepresented in mainstream media. Featuring legends like Tupac Shakur, Missy Elliott, Notorious B.I.G., Lauryn Hill, and Jay-Z, Vibe captured the look and sound of a transformative era in music.
We most often review:
1993–Early 2000s U.S. Editions
Covers Featuring Influential Artists or Key Cultural Moments
Issues in Very Good Condition with Intact Covers and Pages
Collections of 15+ Magazines, Boxed or Bundled
Magazines Without Mailing Labels Preferred
What We’re Looking For
While we value all inquiries, we follow clear guidelines when reviewing Vibe magazine collections:
Era: We primarily consider issues published from 1993 through the early 2000s. Later editions are typically not accepted.
Condition: Magazines must be in very good condition—free of mold, major tears, missing pages, or water damage.
Mailing Labels: We prefer label-free copies, particularly when the label covers critical artwork or photography.
Quantity: We do not buy individual issues. We generally review collections of 15 or more, ideally boxed or suitable for pickup.
Content/Cover Features: While cover stars and cultural content may help a collection stand out, inclusion alone does not guarantee purchase.
Please note that Vibe was widely distributed during its peak years. Only a small percentage of collections meet the specific condition, age, and volume standards needed for resale.
