Sell Your Old GamePro Magazines
Welcome to SellOldMagazines.com—your trusted source for the careful and selective review of vintage magazine collections. If you have old issues of GamePro magazine, particularly from the 1980s through the early 2000s, your collection may qualify for review. As one of the most recognizable names in gaming journalism, GamePro captured the evolution of console and arcade gaming for an entire generation.

We are currently reviewing select GamePro magazine collections that meet our general buying criteria.

About GamePro Magazine

Launched in 1989, GamePro was a leading video game magazine for over two decades. Known for its colorful layouts, animated reviewer avatars, multi-platform coverage, and industry previews, GamePro was a mainstay in the gaming community through the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation, and early Xbox eras. Its accessible tone and detailed game reviews made it a must-read for young gamers during the 1990s and early 2000s.

We are most likely to review:

  • 1989–Early 2000s U.S. Editions

  • Covers Featuring Major Console Launches, Franchises, or Iconic Games

  • Magazines in Very Good Condition (No Missing Pages or Water Damage)

  • Boxed Collections of 15+ Issues Preferred

  • Copies Without Mailing Labels Strongly Preferred

What We’re Looking For

We appreciate all submissions, but GamePro collections must meet the following criteria to be considered:

  • Era: We primarily review issues from the 1989 launch through the early 2000s. Later issues may be considered as part of a larger collection.

  • Condition: All magazines must be in very good condition—no mold, missing pages, tears, or excessive wear.

  • Mailing Labels: We prefer label-free copies, especially when labels obscure artwork or titles.

  • Quantity: We do not accept single issues. Submissions must include 15 or more magazines, boxed and ready for shipment or pickup.

  • Content Value: Issues featuring early console generations, E3 previews, or first appearances of popular titles (e.g., Street Fighter II, Final Fantasy, Halo) may increase interest but do not guarantee acceptance.

Even with its strong brand recognition, GamePro resale is selective. We can only accept collections that meet our standards for age, condition, and volume.
