About Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine
Launched in 1997 and published through 2007, Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine was Sony’s sanctioned voice in gaming print media. Best known for including demo discs with early builds of highly anticipated games, OPM offered previews, reviews, developer interviews, and behind-the-scenes coverage across the PlayStation, PS2, and early PS3 eras. Its demo disc library alone became a nostalgic benchmark for a generation of gamers.

1997–2007 U.S. Editions
Issues Featuring Console Launches, Milestone Games, or Exclusive Demos
Magazines in Very Good Condition (No Missing Pages, Heavy Wear, or Water Damage)
Boxed Collections of 15 or More Issues
Mailing Label-Free Covers Strongly Preferred
Demo Discs Still Attached or Included in Good Condition (Optional, but Preferred)
What We’re Looking For
While we appreciate all interest, Official PlayStation Magazine collections must meet the following criteria to be considered:
Era: We are primarily reviewing issues from the original PlayStation era (1997) through the PlayStation 2 era and into the early PS3 years (up to 2007).
Condition: Magazines must be in very good condition—no mold, water damage, torn covers, or missing sections.
Demo Discs: Discs should be included and in clean condition if available, though they are not required.
Mailing Labels: We prefer label-free copies, particularly on issues with prominent cover art or console milestone features.
Quantity: We do not purchase individual issues. Submissions should include 15 or more magazines, boxed for shipping or available for local pickup.
Special Content: Issues that highlight major game debuts (Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, God of War, Gran Turismo, etc.) may attract attention, though content alone does not guarantee a purchase.
Even with strong nostalgia appeal, OPM resale is selective. Only collections that meet our standards for condition, era, and volume are likely to qualify.
How to Sell Your Official PlayStation Magazine Collection
If your collection fits the guidelines above, please submit a quote request with several clear, well-lit photos. Include representative covers, visible dates, and condition of demo discs (if applicable). If accepted, we’ll provide shipping instructions or coordinate a local pickup.
We do not appraise or guarantee purchases, but we’re happy to review qualifying collections.
