Sell Your Old PC Gamer Magazines
Welcome to SellOldMagazines.com—your professional resource for the careful and selective review of vintage magazine collections. If you have older issues of PC Gamer, particularly from the 1990s through the early 2000s, your collection may qualify for review. Known for its demo discs, in-depth reviews, and hardware coverage, PC Gamer has long been a staple in the computer gaming world.
We are currently reviewing select PC Gamer magazine collections that meet our general buying guidelines.
About PC Gamer Magazine
PC Gamer launched in the United States in 1994 as a spinoff of the original UK edition. It quickly became the leading magazine for PC gaming enthusiasts, offering a mix of reviews, previews, modding tutorials, interviews, and cutting-edge hardware coverage. Many U.S. issues were packaged with demo CDs or DVDs that gave gamers early access to playable builds and software. The magazine covered pivotal eras in PC gaming history, including the rise of FPS titles, real-time strategy, MMOs, and indie development.
We are most likely to review:
1994–Mid 2000s U.S. Editions
Issues Featuring Notable Game Releases, Industry Milestones, or Benchmark Reviews
Magazines in Very Good Condition (No Water Damage, Mold, or Missing Pages)
Boxed Collections of 15+ Issues Preferred
Copies Without Mailing Labels Strongly Preferred
Demo Discs Still Attached or Included (Optional, but Preferred)
What We’re Looking For
While we appreciate all interest, PC Gamer submissions must meet the following criteria for consideration:
Era: We primarily review issues from the 1990s through the early 2000s. More recent editions are typically not accepted unless included in a larger boxed collection.
Condition: Magazines must be in very good condition—free from torn pages, significant wear, mold, or water damage.
Mailing Labels: We prefer label-free covers, especially when labels obscure logos or cover art.
Demo Discs: While not required, issues with original demo CDs or DVDs still attached or included may be prioritized for review.
Quantity: We do not purchase individual issues. Submissions should include 15 or more, boxed for shipment or prepared for in-person pickup.
Content: Launch-era reviews, retrospective features, and coverage of major PC titles (Half-Life, StarCraft, Doom, The Sims, World of Warcraft, etc.) may enhance reviewability but do not guarantee acceptance.
Even for respected publications like PC Gamer, resale remains a niche market. Only collections that meet our combined standards for condition, completeness, and volume are considered.
