Sell Your Old Eerie Magazines
Welcome to SellOldMagazines.com—a trusted resource for the selective and professional review of vintage magazine collections. If you have original issues of Eerie magazine, especially from its 1960s through early 1980s publication run, your collection may qualify for review. As a sister title to Creepy, Eerie carried forward Warren Publishing’s tradition of atmospheric, anthology-style horror storytelling through unforgettable art and chilling plots.
We are currently reviewing select Eerie magazine collections that meet our general buying criteria.
About Eerie Magazine
First published by Warren Publishing in 1966, Eerie followed the successful format of Creepy, delivering black-and-white horror comics in a magazine format free from Comics Code restrictions. Hosted by the eerie narrator “Cousin Eerie,” each issue featured standalone stories illustrated by top-tier artists like Frank Frazetta, Tom Sutton, Ken Kelly, and Bernie Wrightson. With gothic horror, science fiction, and monster tales, Eerie quickly became a cult classic.
We are most likely to review:
1966–Early 1980s U.S. Editions (Warren Publishing Run)
Issues with Key Cover Art, Early Artist Contributions, or First Appearances
Magazines in Very Good Condition with No Mold, Water Damage, or Missing Pages
Boxed Collections of 10 or More Issues Preferred
Mailing Label-Free Copies Strongly Preferred
What We’re Looking For
While we appreciate all submissions, Eerie collections must meet the following standards for review and potential purchase:
Era: We primarily review issues published between 1966 and the early 1980s, during the Warren Publishing era. Later reprints or modern revivals are typically not accepted.
Condition: Magazines must be in very good condition—free from excessive wear, torn pages, or staining.
Mailing Labels: We prefer copies without mailing labels, particularly when they obscure cover illustrations.
Quantity: We do not accept single issues. Submissions should include 10 or more magazines, ideally boxed and ready to ship or available for local pickup.
Notable Content: Issues featuring well-known cover artists, recurring characters (like Dax the Warrior), or rare printings may receive additional consideration—but content alone does not guarantee eligibility.
Even though Eerie remains a respected and collectible horror magazine, resale interest is limited. Only collections that meet our standards for condition, completeness, and volume are likely to qualify.
