Launched in 1991, Wizard quickly became the go-to publication for comic book news, interviews, price guides, previews, and speculation. It frequently featured top creators, exclusive art, and special inserts like trading cards, posters, and mini-comics.
We are most likely to review:
1991–Early 2000s U.S. Editions
Low-Numbered Issues (e.g., #1–#50)
Magazines in Very Good Condition (No Missing Pages or Heavy Wear)
Issues with Bonus Inserts Still Included (Cards, Posters, etc.)
Boxed Collections of 15+ Issues Preferred
Mailing Label-Free Copies Strongly Preferred
What We’re Looking For
We welcome all interest, but Wizard submissions must meet the following criteria for consideration:
Era: We primarily review Wizard issues from 1991 through the early 2000s. Later issues may be accepted as part of a larger lot.
Condition: All magazines must be in very good condition—no mold, water damage, torn covers, or missing content.
Inserts: Issues with intact extras (like trading cards or posters) are preferred, though not required.
Mailing Labels: We prefer label-free issues, especially when the label obscures cover art.
Quantity: We do not purchase single issues. We typically review collections of 15 or more, boxed and ready for shipping or pickup.
Special Content: First appearances, exclusive art, and milestone issues may receive additional attention—but content alone does not determine eligibility.
While Wizard has nostalgic value for many collectors, resale is limited to collections that meet our standards for era, condition, and volume.
How to Sell Your Wizard Magazine Collection
If your collection fits the criteria above, please submit a quote form and upload several clear, well-lit photos. Include representative covers, visible dates, and any relevant information about inserts or condition. If accepted, we’ll provide packing instructions or arrange a local pickup if feasible.
We do not appraise or guarantee purchases, but we’re happy to review qualifying collections.
