Sell Your Old Creepy Magazines
Welcome to SellOldMagazines.com—your professional resource for the selective review of vintage magazine collections. If you have old issues of Creepy magazine, especially from the 1960s through the 1980s, your collection may qualify for review. Known for its chilling stories, moody black-and-white artwork, and legendary illustrators, Creepy helped define horror comics for a post-Comics Code generation.
We are currently reviewing select Creepy magazine collections that meet our general buying criteria.
About Creepy Magazine
Published by Warren Publishing beginning in 1964, Creepy offered horror comic storytelling at a time when traditional comic book publishers were restricted by censorship. With no Comics Code restrictions due to its magazine format, Creepy featured haunting one-shot stories, hosted by its skeletal mascot “Uncle Creepy,” and showcased the work of legendary artists like Frank Frazetta, Bernie Wrightson, Neal Adams, and Richard Corben. It became a cornerstone of 20th-century horror illustration and storytelling.
We are most likely to review:
1964–1983 U.S. Editions (Original Warren Publishing Run)
Issues in Very Good Condition (No Mold, Water Damage, or Missing Pages)
Boxed Collections of 10 or More Magazines
Copies Without Mailing Labels Strongly Preferred
Early Issues (#1–50) or Artist-Driven Covers Preferred When Available
What We’re Looking For
While we appreciate all interest, only select Creepy collections meet our standards for review and possible purchase:
Era: We primarily review issues from 1964 through the early 1980s, particularly from the Warren Publishing era. Later reboots or reprints are generally not accepted.
Condition: Magazines must be in very good condition—free of torn pages, mold, excessive wear, or water damage.
Mailing Labels: We prefer label-free copies, especially on highly illustrated or early covers.
Quantity: We do not purchase single issues. Submissions should include 10 or more magazines, boxed and prepared for secure shipping or pickup.
Content Appeal: First appearances, early volumes, or issues showcasing iconic cover artists may attract additional interest—but content alone does not determine eligibility.
Even though Creepy is highly regarded by horror and comic collectors, resale is selective. Only collections that meet our volume, condition, and era criteria are considered.
